【摘要】:1.1Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationprovidessafetyandperformancerequirementsforvarioustypesofpublicuseplayequipmentsuchas,butnotlimitedto,compositeplaystructures,climbingstructures,to-froswings,springrockingequipment,andslides.Itisintendedtoapplytoplayequipmentthatisusedinplacesofpublicassembly,includingearlycareandeducationfacilities,parks,orplaygrounds.Publicuseplayareasforchildreninthisagerangeincludebothindoor(classroom)settingsandoutdoorplaygrounds.Whereappropriate,distinctionswillbemadebetweenindoorandoutdoorsettingswherethereissupervision(forexample,aplayareathatispartofanearlycareandeducationfacility),andsettingswithunlimitedaccess(forexample,publicplaygroundsandparks).1.2Therangeofusersencompassedbythisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationisthe5thpercentile6montholdthroughthe95thpercentile23monthold.1.3Thepurposeofthisspecificationistoreducethepotentialforlifethreateninganddebilitatinginjuries.1.4Accessorytoysattachedtoplayequipmentmustmeetallrelevantstandardsincludingthisconsumersafetyperformancespecification.1.5Homeplaygroundequipment,amusementparkequipment,sportsequipment,fitnessequipment,softcontainedplayequipment,tricycles,toys,juvenilecareproductssuchas,butnotlimitedto,infantswings,playyards,expansiongates,andexpandableenclosures,furniture(includingchild-sizedhouseplayfurnishingsandsand/watertablesintendedprimarilyforindooruse),bassinetsandcradles,infantwalkers,bouncerseats,jumpers,infantstationaryactivitycenters,andinfantcarriersarenotincludedinthescopeofthisspecification.1.6Thisconsumersafetyperformancespecificationincludesthefollowingsections:TitleSectionScope
