【摘要】:Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforanexperimentalmethodtoprovethatrepresentativesamplesofvalveshellsandtheirbodyends,madeincastiron,steelorcopperalloymaterials,aredesignedtopossesstherequiredpressurecontainingcapability,withanadequatemarginofsafety.Thisstandardisnotapplicabletovalvesdesignedonthebasisoftimedependentstrengthvalues(creep)orvalvesdesignedforpulsatingpressureapplications(fatigue).NOTEForvalvesneedingtocomplywiththeEUDirective97/23/EC(PED),theupperlimitforapplicationofthisstandardwithoutcalculation,iswhenthemaximumallowablepressureatroomtemperature,PSRT,multipliedbytheDN-numberislessthan3000bar.ThisstandardmaybeusedtosupplementtheTabulationmethodforsteelvalves,Part1,andtheCalculationmethodforsteelvalves,Part2withoutlimit.
